What do I need for my lesson? | レッスンに必要なものは何ですか？
You’ll need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. A quiet space will keep things running smoothly, and with some headphones and a cup of coffee, it’ll feel like we’re having a lesson at a cozy café—minus the noisy crowd!
安定したインターネット接続のあるパソコンまたはタブレット、ウェブカメラ、マイクをご用意ください。静かな場所での受講がおすすめです。ヘッドホンとコーヒーがあれば、まるで静かなカフェでレッスンしているような気分になりますよ！（混雑の騒音はなしで！）
Is this okay for beginners? | 初心者でも大丈夫ですか？
Yes, absolutely! Maple Kaiwa is perfect for beginners. Our lessons are tailored to your level, and we’ll take things at a comfortable pace. You’ll build a strong foundation in English with plenty of support and practice along the way!

Can I reschedule or cancel? | スケジュールの変更やキャンセルはできますか？
Yes, no problem! You may cancel or reschedule a class with at least 4 hours’ notice for a full refund. 4 hours before the lesson, or in the case of a no-show, a refund will not be eligible.

Do I need to create a Zoom or Setmore account? | レッスンを受けるには、ZoomやSetmoreのアカウントが必要ですか？
No, you don’t need a Zoom or Setmore account to join the class—you can simply click the link I send you by email at the scheduled time and join without signing in. You can also book lessons on Setmore as a guest without creating an account. However, creating a Setmore account is recommended because it makes booking easier and saves your information for future lessons, so you don’t have to enter your details every time.
いいえ、ZoomやSetmoreのアカウントはなくてもレッスンに参加できます。レッスンの指定時間に、メールでお送りするリンクをクリックするだけでサインイン不要でご参加いただけます。Setmoreではアカウントを作らなくてもゲストとしてレッスンの予約が可能です。ただし、アカウントを作成すると予約が簡単になり、次回以降に情報を入力する手間が省けるのでおすすめです。

Do I need to turn on my video camera for the lesson? | レッスン中にビデオカメラをオンにする必要はありますか？
My camera will always be on to provide clear explanations and support your learning. While you’re not required to turn on your camera, it’s recommended as it helps create a more effective and engaging learning experience.

What ages do you teach? | 何歳から何歳までの生徒さんを教えていますか？
I teach students aged 13 and above. Whether you’re a teenager, university student, or adult, my lessons are tailored to your level and learning goals.

I am not Japanese or in Japan, can I still book a lesson? | 私は日本人でも日本に住んでいなくても、レッスンを予約できますか？
Absolutely! While Maple Kaiwa specializes in teaching Japanese learners, students of all backgrounds are welcome. My lessons are open to anyone looking to improve their English skills, just be sure to enter your correct time zone when booking a lesson.
もちろんです！Maple Kaiwaは日本人学習者向けに特化していますが、どなたでも大歓迎です。英語力を伸ばしたい方ならどなたでもレッスンを受けられます。レッスンを予約するときは、必ず正しいタイムゾーンを選んでくださいね。
How do I pay for the classes? | レッスンの支払い方法はどうなっていますか？
You can use Paypal or Visa/Mastercard. Your payment details are private on Setmore when you book your chosen lesson and will not be visible to me.
PayPalまたはVisa/Mastercardでお支払いいただけます。予約時の支払い情報はSetmoreで安全に管理されており、私には見えないようになっていますのでご安心ください。
How soon are your lessons available for the week? | 今週のレッスンはどのくらい先まで予約できますか？
My lessons are available weekly, and any updates to my availability will be published two weeks in advance!
